Power To The Marketer: Mobile Gaming

Competition is one thing that is prevalent in humanity. Humans just have a natural need to want to compete with one another. You can look in nearly any business and see this. Mobile marketing is one of the newer contenders in this arena, but the competitions are pretty fierce with the ever-growing popularity of mobile devices and technology. One thing that mobile marketers can do to tap into this great competitive market is to use "gamification" in their mobile marketing campaign as described below.

You've seen just how popular apps and downloadable games have been ever since smartphones hit the market. You can't look much of anywhere without seeing something regarding Angry Birds or other popular games. Many reports claim that millions are spending at least two hours daily playing game apps on their phones. That is potential that marketers could be using to their advantage. Fun is something that your audience wants and inserting it into your mobile marketing strategy can take it to new heights.

This all involves "gamification." This principle involves inserting gaming mechanics and dynamics into activities that are not games to obtain a desired behavior or effect. Consider what it is that gives these games their competitive edge. There are things like social leaderboards, interaction with other players, and the entertainment factor that keep people playing and wanting to beat other players. Entertainment is one marketing principle that you should already be familiar with. Giving your customers the "power" of a challenge, pride, and an entertaining and compelling experience can actually help you boost your customer interaction. Many companies have taken that principle to make their own kinds of social hubs that were relevant to their audience and gained more interest and interaction from their customers than ever before.

You can boost interest in products this way, too. This could be as simple as sending emails with a great call to action and a link to a special page, quiz, or the like to your customers. By adding in some type of scoring element, you can offer some deep discounts that they can share on their social media. This will cause customers to spend more time on your page, drive up your traffic and page views, and get them sharing what you offer with even more people.

You can follow up the above using a similar strategy for those that may not have received your message or invitation. You can try using a different call to action or even a deeper discount than the previous one. It is just simple re-targeting that can boost your customer base and traffic.

Gamification, as you can see, does not only apply to games, but also to a great mobile marketing campaign. By tapping into to people's natural competitive nature and love of gaming, you can boost your outreach and sales. Remember that you must test everything first and that you are really getting the most out of your campaign since wasted time and lost customers and sales are not a game.

Nurturing Customer Relationships Using Mobile Marketing Tactics

Only a handful of big businesses have figured out that life cycle marketing is an effective tool to market to existing customers, based on a current developed relationship. That high quality relationship is more relevant than potential customers, who will only continue to subscribe or connect to the business if they truly enjoy what is being done for them through the process.

What this means for the marketer, is that they are hurting themselves that they stop adding value to their existing customers once they have signed up and began paying for the service. The effort to make the relationship between the customer and the company its most beneficial requires extensive communication.

However, it is important to understand that a customer who is potentially about to leave, should be handled differently than a loyal one. There are six effective mobile tactics that work in keeping connected with a loyal customer, in an effort to maintain that loyalty over time. These include:

Sending Text Reminders

Part of the strategy for mobile marketing should include sending out specific text to loyal customers in an effort to keep the company brand in the front of their mind. The text should be used as a spur to gain access to a special promotional or information about new product updates and additional information.

Taking Polls and Surveys

Offering polls and taking surveys is an ideal way to garner feedback from your loyal customers. You can quickly send them a poll, or allow them to respond instantly using their smart phones and cell phones. Additionally, these types of actions allow you to get to know your customers much better. In the end, they will feel appreciated that you are asking specifically for their unique feedback. Again, this helps support the company brand while building highly effective rapport with loyal customers.

Offering Sweepstakes

Everybody enjoys getting something for nothing. Recognize that a sweepstakes is an ideal chance for your loyal customers to when something significant value. It might be having a first look of a product preview, or something behind the scenes that is exclusive just for them. It provides the ideal avenue for telling the company story in a unique way.

Pushing Notifications

Utilize geo-location technology of your customer base smart phones to send or push notifications based on their location. When the system understands that the customer is close to your store, and ready to make a purchase, push the notification that they get a free coupon, or discount and are only steps away from the sale.

Social Integration

Take full advantage of all the major social networks when developing an effective mobile campaign. Through social integration, you can allow your loyal base to discuss their relationship and experience with the business, in a variety of ways including sharing, posting and tweeting.

Maintaining records on how many loyal customers respond to the sent messages, and exactly how much they are spending on average will help determine the best return on investment of a mobile strategy.

Most Businesses Do Not Understand the Power of Mobile Marketing

One of the more interesting facts concerning mobile marketing is that many businesses simply do not understand its power. Businesses neglect to realize that nearly every individual has a mobile device that they carry around with them every day. This one fact alone ought to be enough of a statistic to convince any company about the crucial importance of mobile marketing, and its effectiveness in reaching a targeted audience.

However, even with the millions of companies worldwide, all attempting to reach a targeted audience, only a small fraction have ended up being successful using mobile marketing. Because of that, other companies believe that maybe it is not worth their effort, time and money to use this tool for promoting. While the decision is always based on what the company knows, there are significant benefits to using mobile marketing as an effective tool above any other type of strategy.

One of the key components to mobile marketing is the ability to reach almost anyone, anywhere, at any time. This is because nearly every individual always has their smart phone within proximity. Alternatively, local marketing campaign strategies usually only reach a small area and rarely directly make connection one-on-one with their consumer.

One of the biggest significant advantages of mobile marketing is that if it is done correctly, it can provide the avenue to influence millions of individuals with mobile phones to purchase services or products the company provides. It is not limited to just a targeted base, but can actually be delivered worldwide. In the end, the possibilities of generating greater profits are nearly boundless.

Companies need to invest fewer amounts of their advertising dollars using mobile marketing. It does not require the manufacturing of thousands or tens of thousands of detailed flyers, or other paraphernalia used for advertising.

Part of the mobile marketing strategy should be focused on a specific targeted audience, by designing it for delivering information directly to their mobile device. The process can be done using a professional web designer, but it is not required.

The longevity of an effective and successful mobile marketing campaign can last for many years. A high quality mobile website can be an effective tool for marketing and promoting the business for years to come. With the proper amount of constant updates, it can grow in popularity, as the company and the website evolve.

Individuals that are just starting out their mobile marketing strategies typically have a small audience. However, they should not give up, work hard, and do everything possible to achieve a higher level of a targeted audience. Recognized online users often appreciate the amount of effort and high quality content found on a mobile page.

With the creation of a mobile site, and promoting it to a worldwide audience, any company can easily find a larger targeted base of potential customers where they can sell their services and goods. However, their mobile webpage must be designed to be extremely convenient to browse, so that any new visitor can find their way around to locate the products or services they desire.

Mobile Marketing The Clever Way

I want to make a few quick suggestions to help you increase you mobile marketing plans exponentially. You need to forget about the idea of separating your mobile, social, and traditional marketing and start using them all as a joint effort for greater success. I want to share a few ideas you might enjoy.

Traditional mobile marketing focuses on using mobile optimized websites, mobile SEO strategies, and attracting a mobile audience using apps. Those are all great things to do, but if you want instant impact, you need to break free from traditional ideas.

My definition is slightly different. I focus on any method that causes people to use their mobile devices to walk in my doors or to buy my products. One of my favorite strategies is to offer discounts only to people who show me our coupon on their mobile device. The coupon cannot be printed or used in any other method. They must walk into our door with their phone or tablet in hand and show us the coupon. We do these promotions on a regular basis for one reason. We want to be on their phones.

We want our clients to bookmark our business on their phones. We want them checking our specials on their phone or tablet because they are mobile when they do it. They are more likely to walk in our door at that moment than when they are sitting at their desk at the office or in their homes.

Another strategy we have tested in our mobile marketing is combining with social media marketing. We offer double discounts to clients who print a coupon from our updates on our Facebook page and bring their mobile device to our store to show us the mobile coupon. Once again, this is to get them walking in our doors and keeping us on their phones. We want to become one of the businesses that has a special place on their mobile device, because it is with them 24 hours per day.

Our other strategies all follow the same concepts. We entice people in our print ads in newspapers, school programs, and community advertisements to show us our ads on their phones. This strategy increases the hits on your mobile website dramatically, since your customers know they can only get the best specials using their phone.

I want to ask you a serious question about your business. Do you think you will get more impact by having a simple mobile app that a client uses occasionally, or by insisting they use their mobile device to get their discounts? We tried both and one strategy was the clear winner. Using mobile apps is still a good investment, but taking a little different path can lead to higher sales and greater customer loyalty.

You must have a well-optimized mobile site. You must make sure you site ranks highly on mobile searches and on map programs. In our experience, the one key to increasing sales has been to combine all of our marketing strategies to highlight our mobile marketing campaigns. Our business is entrenched on our client's phones, right where we want to be.

Mobile Marketing Techniques For Your Business

Mobile marketing is a reference to marketing that generally occurs over wireless networks. It is marketing that is directed at users of smart phones, tablets, iPads, and various other mobile devices. When mobile marketing first began, it was primarily limited to sending text messages to users. This method is still quite popular, even with the advent of enhanced technological capabilities. Today, mobile marketing involves using apps, advertisements on apps, and use of social media applications, in addition to sending SMS text messages. With the very pervasive use of mobile devices, mobile marketing generates an opportunity to be able to consistently  interact with prospective customers and to interact with them on social platforms.

The manner in which mobile marketing is utilized will depend on the size of your organization and the number of staff members that you can allocate to its use, along with the objectives and goals of your entire marketing strategy. You can relieve some of this burden by hiring an agency that specializes in mobile marketing.  An experienced mobile marketing firm will be able to assist you by designing a strategy that is commensurate with your company goals and your brand. Certainly a mobile marketing provider will have to use analytics software in order to analyze and have an understanding in regards to the efficacy of a particular mobile marketing effort. Data analysis will help them to understand which efforts should be expanded and which ones should be abandoned, in order to keep you fully connected with your customers.

Frequently, using a mobile marketing service provider will allow you to focus on other aspects of your business and create additional products and services based upon customer need. Mobile marketing will also give you a way to provide rewards, incentives, and to track the behavior of your customers. There are numerous apps that make use of GPS in order to track customers location and understand where and when customers are most likely to engage with your business. This data, which is available through analytics software, will enable you to create advertising campaigns that have a greater probability of resonating with your customers and provide you with an increased ROI on your advertising budget. A mobile marketing partner can help to furnish you with insights based on the data they collect, that you would not otherwise have access to. This will help you to create future campaigns that will produce better results.

Since internet accesses on mobile devices will soon outpace those from traditional desktop and laptop computers, you also need to design your website so that it will render well across a wide variety of devices. You can make use of responsive web design so that when a customer accesses your site, the resolution of the accessing device will be determined, and a version of your site that will render well on that particular device can be supplied to the accessing customer.

Mobile marketing is certainly growing by leaps and bounds and it is also becoming increasingly interactive. By making use of apps for social media, businesses can be sure that they can constantly interact with customers. Certainly, older strategies for mobile marketing remain viable, such as SMS text messages. By utilizing an experienced mobile marketing firm you can analyze this rather complicated medium in order to tailor a marketing strategy that is suitable for your particular business.

Mobile Marketing Success Techniques

Success with mobile marketing is not something that is easily achieved. Most people that attempt to make money marketing their products through the cellular networks often fail miserably upon their first attempt. One of the main reasons for their difficulty in finding success has to do with the fact that mobile marketing is not your traditional form of marketing. Even though most people have a cell phone on them at all times, you do not want to send text messages to these individuals asking them to buy anything. Like traditional marketing, there is a certain art that you have to use when crafting the sales process. As you would not appreciate a used car salesman getting in-your-face, asking you to buy a car the moment you appear on the lot, you have to use a little bit of finesse with those that have regular cellular and smartphones, or else your results will be dismal at best. In this article, we will present tips on how to achieve mobile marketing success that will help you sell more of your products to potential customers on the cellular networks.

Although this may seem counterintuitive, the last thing you want to do is contact people with cell phones about your products and services. Marketing really isn't about asking for the sale, at least not initially. Your goal is to gain their confidence, which is something that is not achievable if you are asking for their money right away. You need to develop a relationship with these individuals, and most of the time this is achievable when you approach them outside of the cellular network. One of the best ways to do this is through the Internet. It is very common for people to search for certain information on the web. Search engines are very popular, providing people with the ability to find the information that they need within seconds. By creating a website that ranks well, especially for keywords related to your products, interested potential customers will be able to find you, and you will be able to market to them using the following strategies.

The first thing you want to do is capture their name and email. Although the use of auto responders has been used for many years, it is now very common to see people asking for mobile phone numbers. If people enter this into the form when requesting certain free information that you are providing, this essentially gives you permission to contact them on their phone. Once they have downloaded the information, not only will they be sent email messages on a regular basis, you can also contact them regularly on their phone sending text messages, asking them to see additional information that you provide. Along the way, you want to present them with several offers for products that you own, or that you are marketing. By doing this, you have the trust and permission of the person receiving the messages, and it is this trust that will motivate them to purchase what you have to offer.

Finally, you need to contact them on their cell phone only on an intermittent basis. Unlike snail mail and email, it is not generally appreciated by most people to get text messages every couple days. However, if you contact them once a week, telling them to download updates that you have provided, you can also sell to them on a regular basis by using this strategy.

This information is designed to help anyone who is trying to get into mobile marketing. By using these passive aggressive techniques, you will be able to use the cellular networks to your advantage and start generating more sales as a result.

Mobile Marketing Strategies To Help You Launch A Successful Campaign

If you do not use the mobile platform to promote your brand, you should think about developing a mobile marketing campaign. Using mobile marketing is an excellent way to stay connected to your audience while developing a more modern and trendy image for your brand. Go over the following article if you are curious about mobile marketing.

Mobile marketing can be as simple as texting your customers to let them know about your new discounts or as complex as developing an app so customers can order your products on their mobile phone. You will have to determine what kind of interactions your customers are interested in and what kind of technologies they are comfortable with. Use surveys or look for marketing studies on your target audience to get a better idea of how your customers use their mobile phones.

Your customers will not develop an interest in this new campaign unless they perceive it as valuable. You can build value for your campaign by sharing examples of the kind of content you will share with subscribers. Mention specific discounts you plan on advertising via mobile marketing or generate some interest for a new product you have not released yet but will make available to the subscribers of your mobile marketing campaign. Customers will perceive this campaign as valuable if they receive useful information and save money on your products.

Your mobile marketing campaign will be even more successful if you give your audience the possibility to interact with you. You could for instance let your subscribers text you back to ask questions or enter a giveaway. If your customers are likely to download apps, consider developing at least one to present your products in an interactive manner. An interactive catalog of your products or even a game based on your products should interest your customers. If you have a mobile website, ask your visitors to perform an action in order to receive a coupon code or enter a giveaway.

You can calculate the impact of your presence on the mobile platform by keeping track of how many visitors you get on your mobile website or of how many people download your apps. You should also count how many sales are generated thanks to this campaign, for instance by counting how many of your customers redeem the coupon codes you share via mobile marketing. If you do not get the results you were hoping for, change your strategies. Perhaps your methods are not adapted to your audience or your customers do not really see your campaign as valuable. Communicate with your audience to get some feedback on the strategies you use. You will eventually be successful if you always look for ways to improve your campaign.

These mobile marketing tips should help you launch a very successful campaign. Apply them and take the time to do more research on your target audience and on the mobile platform before investing time and resources in this new campaign.

Mobile Marketing Strategies For The Local Business Owner

When you think about mobile marketing, the first thing that comes to mind might be how consumers can have access to world-wide information right on their hand-held devices. This is indeed a big benefit to global marketers. However, mobile marketing is equally, if not more, powerful and effective as a marketing too for local businesses. This article will discuss how that is so.

If you have a local business established in your neighborhood, like a restaurant or the corner bookstore, your main clientele is the people in your neighborhood and people who may be occasional visitors. You can use mobile marketing to drive more customers to your door, right when it matters.

People use their mobile devices to stay virtually connected to information at all times. Most of them carry their cell phones with them all the time. They have instant access to text messages and emails, and get immediate alerts to services that they have signed up for.

As the owner of a local business, this is a great opportunity for you to be very focused in effective in your marketing. First, you need to gather some basic information from your customers. Give your customers an incentive to sign up to receive text updates from your establishment. The incentive can be a discount that that can use on their current purchase. Most people cannot resist that and it is a good way to build up your subscriber base.

When you have a list of of subscribers, think about what kind of promotions you can send to them to drive them to your business. Let's say that you are a restaurant owner. You know that the peak lunch time is probably between 11:30am to 1:30pm. You can send out a text message that morning around 10 am with information about your daily lunch special and the discount code that they can use to get a special price. This will put the idea into your subscribers' heads, and they may just swing by your restaurant to have lunch that day. Promoting a special at a time when people can take advantage of it is a very effective way to draw them in.

You can also keep track of what percentage of clientele use your text message special discount. This will tell you how successful this approach is. If a good percentage of your clientele came to your business because of the text, you know you have found found a good way to bring in people.

People get a lot of text messages everyday, so make your messages short and to the point. Capture their attention by being very clear on what they can gain. Brief and helpful are the key to a successful message.

You can combine mobile marketing with your conventional way of marketing to your clientele. If you usually send out mailers to the residents in the neighborhood, include a code that they can text to to get discounts. This is just another example of how mobile marketing can be a major part of your overall marketing strategy.

Mobile Marketing Overview

Even children have smartphones today, so there's no wonder mobile marketing is on the rise.

Mobile marketing has several branches, one of the oldest being SMS marketing. Many services we subscribe to use SMS to keep us posted with their newest offers and although such messages can be annoying at times, they are not too intrusive, therefore people accept them well.

One of the latest smart inventions in mobile marketing are the QR codes. QR comes from Quick Response. These QR codes allow visiting a web page only by scanning the code with your smartphone's camera. There is an associated app which you need to install on your phone in order for this system to work. QR codes are gaining popularity especially in Europe. If you look at historic monuments or tourist attractions, you might notice such QR codes next to the name of the monument. If you scan it with your phone, you'll get information about the respective tourist attraction right on your phone. Collective discount websites also use such QR codes for their offers. After you get a coupon, you print it and you take it to the shop where you'll get what you paid for. The shop assistant will scan the QR code on your coupon and will know exactly what you ordered.

Another method of mobile marketing is advertising within mobile games. Many players would be happy to see some promotional messages and have the game for free instead of paying and getting it ad-free. Games are only an example. In fact, all kind of mobile apps host advertising in order to be able to support themselves financially, while staying free for the final consumer.

Mobile marketing communication has a great advantage: flexibility. It is possible to customize the messages according to the location of the viewer. This is how, if you are in a city center and log into a wireless network, you can get custom messages about places to visit nearby your hot spot, or events that are going to take place over the next few days. This type of marketing actually generates value for everybody. If you were a tourist you probably remember how avid for information you were when first arriving into a new location, be it a city or a touristic area. Sometimes the information is very hard to find, therefore getting some on your mobile surely helps you get started in your exploratory endeavor.

Creativity is at home in mobile marketing. With smart applications like Swipely, for instance, you can get your customers join your loyalty programs straight from their mobile, by simply sending you a text message. Everything is done automatically, they are entered into your database and their credit or debit cards will be smoothly integrated into the app, making everything very easy and hassle-free.

There are also mobile apps that allow businesses to exchange text messages with their customers. This is very useful for restaurants, for instance, because they can automatically send reminders to customers who booked tables for certain dates.

Mobile marketing is part of our lives today, so we accepted and integrated it into our existence.

Mobile Marketing is the Wave of the Future

Without a doubt the Internet change the world, and begin a process that would eventually involve an even greater form of communication, mobile marketing. Mobile is a channel for instant accessibility, with statistics and projections that state the amount of mobile users continues to increase at an exponential rate.

If you are a company or product owner in today's marketplace, and you desire continued success, mobile marketing cannot be ignored, instead embraced as a way to increase your company or brand awareness. It doesn't matter if you are a national or local business; mobile marketing has functions that can increase your bottom line, if used properly, which are called mobile strategies.

In order to capitalize on mobile marketing, there are several steps involved, was step one being pre-planning.

The pre-planning stage is the gathering of information and brainstorming of your ideas. Exactly what does your business hope to accomplish with mobile marketing, and even more important what do your customers want. Once this is strategized, the next step is figuring out how then where, and then moving forward with your plan. Once you've given clearest thought to these questions, you will begin to have a clearer idea of execution, and exactly what the next stages need to be. A few of the concepts involved with mobile marketing are: compelling content, the ability to retrieve it instantly, and to make the information insightful and relevant to your customers.

The next step, or step two is the infrastructure: this is the phase where you will consider how to implement your mobile marketing strategies, how you will be listed locally and what you will deliver to the search engines. This is a time when you will begin to claim your online social identity, sharing there are certain points and elements in place. It is imperative that you identify and build upon social signals such as Facebook and Twitter, blending those to better enhance and convey your message. This is also the time to ensure that your business has the capabilities, to handle and satisfied your mobile traffic, it would do no one any good, to offer a special benefit to mobile customers, then failed to notify your employees of same.

Step three moves you towards a mobile website: while there are many platforms that are dynamic, meaning they will change depending on how they are access, either via a PC or smart phone, it is crucial that you have a mobile website that is relevant and easy to navigate. Once this is in place, not only will your business or brand be more accessible to mobile customers, you'll also have the ability to gather feedback and user statistics, that can help you alter your strategy, if necessary, in the future.

Step four is implementing promotions and updates: if a customer looks at your mobile website, they want to immediately be presented with the most relevant information, for instance a daily special, or coupon. It is imperative that you let existing customers know that you are now using mobile to enhance their shopping experience, this might be implemented with QR codes, Facebook pages, e-mail and or print advertising.

Step five would be to consider a mobile application: a mobile application (termed app), can be an effective and interesting way for customers to interact with your business or brand. These apps, reside on a customer's smart phone, and can be quickly and easily updated, which can improve your overall interaction with customers. By doing this, your ideas and concepts can remain fresh and appealing, hopefully increasing your customer appreciation, and increasing your traffic flow.

The savvy business owner, or marketing expert, realizes that smart phone usage will only continue to increase. By realizing this, the mobile market or can best take advantage of modern day technology.

Mobile Marketing Is The Next Big Thing

For a long time, search engine marketing was presented as the greatest form of marketing and it was true. People search the Internet and Google when they are looking for a service based business more often than they do the Yellow Pages or a local news paper. Matter of fact, many major newspapers are going bankrupt because fewer businesses are using them to advertise their services. TV, radio and Internet are the 3 biggest and most successful ways to Internet a business.

Billboards are also great but they limit your exposure to only people who drive by them. To that effect TV commercials and radio give exposure by repetition and the goal is for someone to remember your ad when they see or hear your commercial. That last sentence explains why Internet marketing and now mobile marketing are superior forms of marketing. Whereas these other forms of marketing require for someone to remember or see you ad when they are in need of your service, Mobile marketing allows you to reach a customer at their point of need.

Point of need is when someone wakes up in the middle of night with a mainline pipe break with water gushing everywhere and the longer this water runs the more money it is going to cost them. Radio and TV are no good at that time because they need help NOW. What most people will do is jump on their smart phone and look for an emergency plumber who works 24/7. This is point of need and mobile marketing has this covered.

Point of need isn't only relegated to emergency situations, it also covers whenever someone needs an answer in present time. This could be when they are searching for a restaurant or something entertaining to do. The popularity of smart phones has made it so that almost everyone has a search engine in their pocket. You have to have enough of an Internet presence to be found when they need your service or that money will go to your competitors.

Even if you are already running an Internet marketing campaign, your site has to be optimized for mobile phone users because not all internet sites render well on mobile phones. Smart businesses are having mobile extensions of their website created just for smart phone users. Businesses who do this are going to receive more business from mobile marketing than people with sites that don't render well on mobile phones.

As you can see, the marketing world has changed, not only must you have a superior internet presence, you also have to ensure that your web assets render well on mobile phones.

With more people using smart phones to access the Internet than traditional computers, you have to market to these web user. You have to be easily found when they are at their Point Of Need. The company who can be found when there is a need will rule the market place and earn more money than their less prepared competition.

Mobile Marketing is a Great Way to Increase Sales Your Retail Business

If you own a business you already know who your target customers are. These are the people that you design your ads to appeal to and motivate. You probably understand what "rings their bells" and what motivates them.

Mobile marketing is a great way to reach your target audience with your specific message. We have written down a few suggestions about mobile marketing that will help you understand how a mobile campaign can increase sales for your business.

First, your campaign must appeal to the local people in your area. You understand that people often go out shopping without a clear understanding of where they are going or exactly what they are after. Often times they pull out their smartphones and try to figure out where to go as they are on their way. These people are generally in a hurry and don't want to spend a lot of time time trying to find a store that appeals to them.

To reach these people your initial campaigns must be built around the keywords your target audience is using to search for these products in your city or town. For instance: "Mens boat shoes in Cleveland" or "leather handbag stores in Miami." This takes a little practice but you will soon learn to master your keyword selection. People are searching on their mobile devices all the time, so you can see this is a vast pool of potential customers.

A great way to develop customer loyalty is through a mobile text campaign. Offer every customer the opportunity to join your mobile text list. Offer them an incentive to join, such as a free gift or a deep discount coupon. Let them know that regular discounts are one of the perks of being on remaining on the list. When someone joins your campaign make sure you reward them quickly and let them know how much you appreciate their business.

You have probably noticed that more and more businesses are starting customer loyalty programs. Why? Because they work! Let the people who have joined your mobile text campaign know that their loyalty will be rewarded. Once a week send out a text offering them a special discount on a popular item in the store. Or, you might invite them to a closed store sale --- a sale open only to loyal mobile text campaign members.

Another suggestion is to send a text message when a new hot item comes in that is highly in demand. Let your list members know that you are telling them first. The important thing is to make sure each text contains something of value for your customers. Don't send out straight ads and don't spam your customers. One or two texts a week is the maximum.

These days all retail businesses should include mobile marketing as part of their advertising strategy. It is a great way to reach new customers and even a better way to reward returning customers. When your customers feel you care about them, they will be back! Yes, mobile marketing can be used to increase sales for any retail store --- even yours!
